Apéro: Farewell to Australian Ambassador

Guests gathered at the iconic Zunfthaus zur Meisen in Zurich to say farewell to the Australian Ambassador to Switzerland and Advisory Board Member of AusCham, Lynette Wood.

Since her appointment over 4 years ago, Excellency Ambassador Wood has championed the Australian Swiss Chamber of Commerce and this support will continue upon her return to Canberra in her new position as the First Assistant Secretary in the Consular and Crisis Management Division.

We were fortunate to have Olivia Chang, journalist and former CNNMoney Switzerland reporter, returning to interview Excellency Ambassador Wood. The informal Q&A gave the audience an exclusive insight into Ambassador Wood’s background, the highlights of her role and views on Swiss-Australian business relations.

John Wegman, VP & Managing Director Central Europe Region for Iron Mountain Inc, a longstanding AusCham corporate member, provided the closing comments.
