Australia and the World Trade Organisation: standing resolute while giants battle

For our second event in Geneva, a chapter of AusCham launched early this year, we were privileged to have join us as guest speakers, Ambassador Erwin Bollinger, Head of the Swiss Permanent Mission to the WTO and EFTA in Geneva and Mr Jeremy Green, Deputy Permanent Representative to the World Trade Organization, Geneva.

Moderated by AusCham’s President, Vicki Tanner, the discussions provided insights from those at the coalface on the approach of both countries towards the WTO, including dialogue on the cases they are currently handling and what geopolitical tensions are affecting the WTO.

The event was held at Adina Hotels Geneva, an AusCham corporate member, providing guests with an excellent apéro and networking opportunity.
