“Ballots & Bilateral Ties” – How U.S. Elections Impact Australia
Wonderful event in Geneva earlier in the week where a panel of experts discussed the upcoming US elections and the impact on Australia, particularly in the area of trade.
We are grateful to our host and speaker, Charles C. Adams, Jr., an expert on international trade, and through his experience as former US Ambassador to Finland, provided unique insights into American politics.
Ambassador James Baxter is Australia’s representative at the World Trade Organization, who gave us his perspective on the potential challenges and benefits to Australia resulting from a change in US administration.
Last but most definitely not least, H.E. Elizabeth Day, Australian Ambassador to Switzerland, attended the event as a special guest and provided the closing comments.
Special mention to Vicki Tanner, President of AusCham and especially Patrick Canion, Board Member, for their contribution to the evening.
Event terms & conditions will apply.
