Behind the Scenes at Zurich Airport

The Australian Swiss Chamber of Commerce, together with Singapore Airlines, hosted the booked out event at Zurich Airport where guests had the rare opportunity to visit areas not usually open to the general public. Daniel Fanconi, Singapore Airlines’ Corporate & Alliance Sales Manager, together with his team, led the group through the restricted Airport Control Tower area and a behind the scenes look at the security operations in Zurich Airport. A walk on the tarmac followed, where guests were able to get up-close and personal with Singapore Airlines’ A380, including a visit on board to view the recently launched Premium Suite. The program continued with a tour of Switzerland’s largest construction site where guests received an update of ‘The Circle’ project – a complex of retail, business, accommodation and healthcare buildings within walking distance of the terminals, all set for completion in 2020.
