Economic Roundtable – The Sustainability Transition in Europe & Opportunities in Australia

Our friends at the German Australian Business Council (GABC) together with the Australia France Business Association (AFBA) were pleased to present a joint roundtable featuring eminent economic experts: Australian-born Prof. Christoph M. Schmidt, RWI – Leibniz-Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung, and Prof. Christian Gollier, Toulouse School of Economics, Co-Chair and Member of the Franco-German Council of Economic Experts (FGCEE), respectively.

The roundtable focused on policies for sustainability in Germany and France in relation to Europe more broadly, and referred to the perspectives/implications for Australia.

The session was moderated by Sabine Pittrof – Chair, German Australian Business Council and Bernard Tabary – President, Australia France Business Association.
